Willock, 88, of Madelia, died Sunday at the Lutheran Memorial Home in Madelia. Funeral arrangements are pending with the Pilgrim Funeral Home in Madelia. Ralph H. Bendix, 95, of Belview, formerly of Vesta, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 1999 at the Parkview Home in Belview. Services will be held at 1: 30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 19, in the Parkview Home in Belview. There will be a time of fellowship after the service at the Parkview Home. The Sunset Funeral Home of Echo is handling the arrangements. He is survived by sister Neva Peterson of Annandale, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dr. L.H. Bendix, and Gordon H. Bendix; and a sister Delia Hardy. Ralph Harry Bendix was born June 24, 1904, in Vesta, o Frank and Emilie (Streech) Bendix. He attended the Vesta Public School. He worked as a gas station attendant and operated the bus depot in Vesta. He entered the Parkview Home in Belview in October of 1967. He was a member of the Vesta Presbyterian Church in Vesta until it closed and then became a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Redwood Falls. Melvin G. Luepke, 80, 715 S. German Street, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 1999 at his home. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation is 3-9 p.m. today and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm, and one hour prior to the service at the church. He is survived by his wife, Mae; daughter, Linda Wellmann of New Ulm and her special friend David R. Stolt of St. Peter; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Donna Luepke, John and Lorna Luepke, all of rural Courtland; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Lorine Wiese of Woodbury; sisters and brothers-in-law, Violet and Leonard Hansen of Morgan; Lucille and Sydney Johnson of Kensington; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wallace A. and Delores Johnson of New Ulm, Sven and Vivian Nyman of Lake Placid, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wilbert Luepke; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws. He was born Oct. 22, 1918, in Courtland Township, Nicollet County to Herman and Frieda (Rautenberg) Luepke. On June 12, 1943, he married Mae Johnson at Clear Lake Lutheran Church in rural Gibbon. They farmed in Courtland Township until retiring in 1987 when they moved to New Ulm. He and his wife lived at the Ridgeway on German apartments since 1998. He was a life-long member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the Fellowship Hall (Parish Center) at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm.
