    Margaret (Marge) Iverson, 64, of 1539 Center St., and former Lifestyle Editor at The Journal, died Monday September 13, 1999 at New Ulm Medical Center of lung cancer.
   Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in New Ulm..
   Visitation will be (with the family) Thursday 7-9 p.m. at the church.

   Jerry Coulter, 59, of Hector, died September 11, 1999 at the Fairview University Medical Center in Minneapolis.
   Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Eden Valley Church of God in Eden Valley with burial in the Old Eden Lake Cemetery.
   Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Hughes Funeral Home in Hector, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

   Thomas R. Shaw, 81, of Gaylord died Sunday, September 12, 1999 at Arlington Community Hospital.
   Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Fenske Funeral Home in Gaylord and one hour prior to the service at the church.
   He is survived by his wife LaVerna of Gaylord; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Theresa, Tim and Verla, Terry and Julianne Shaw, all of Gaylord, and Jim Shaw; sister Margaret Ayers of Mankato; step-daughter and her husband Beverly and Lee Jacobson of Gaylord; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; four step grandchildren, eight step-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews,other relatives.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one grandson, two half-sisters, one half brother.
   He was born March 8, 1918 in Nicollet County to Jeremiah and Mary (Larentz) Shaw. He attended eight years of rural country school. He worked with the Army Engineers on the Alaskan Highway during WW.II. In 1949 he started his own business doing farm drainage and worked at that until 1982 when he retired. On March 6, 1966 he married LaVerna Braasch in Las Vegas, Nev.

   Willard Willock, 88, of Madelia died September 12, 1999 at Luther Memorial Home in Madelia.
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Madelia with burial in Riverside Cemetery.
   Visitation will be 5-8 Tuesday at Pilgrim Funeral Home in Madelia and one hour prior to the service at the church.
   He is survived by his wife LaVon; daughter Gloria Kusy and her husband Jerome of Jacksonville, N.C.; sons: Clarence of Madelia, Lyle of Burnsville and Daryl of Coon Rapids; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Waldo of Mason City, Iowa, Edmund of St. James.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son Willard Jr., and sister Annabel.
   He was born July 29, 1911 in Madelia to Errol and Minnie (Shaw) Willock. He grew up in Madelia and attended school there. He married LaVon Bason of Dec. 9, 1939 in Madelia. They farmed in rural Madelia, and also lived in Anoka for 11 years. He retired in 1974 and they moved to Garrison for two years and then returned to Madelia. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he sang in the choir and served as usher. He was a member of Lutheran Brotherhood, the Farmer's Union and NFO. He also served on the Madelia Cremery Board for many years.

    Brad Ewert, 44, of St. James died Sunday evening, September 12, 1999 at Immanuel-St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato.
    Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in St. James with burial in the St. Paul's portion of Mount Hope Cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30-9 a.m. Thursday at Sturm Funeral Home in St., James and one hour prior to the service at the church.
   He is survived by his wife; daughter Jennifer and son Nathan, both of St. James; his parents; sister and brother-in-law Mary Jo and Roger Hagen; mother-in-law and father-in-law Merlin (Sonny) and Marjorie Reinke, all of St. James; brothers and sisters-in-law Yolanda and Steve Moeller of Hiwasse, Ark., Scott and Connie Reinke of Duluth,Cathy and Brian Carter of Ormsby, Jolene and Dan Frankamp, Steven Reinke of Minneapolis; aunts, uncles, neices and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
   He was born Oct. 11, 1954 in Mountain Lake to James and Lois (Miller) Ewert. He attended and graduated from St. James High School in 1974, and spent a year in study at Jackson Vo-tech. He married Bernadine Reinke, Sept. 12, 1981 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in St. James. He worked at Olson Engineering, The Legion Club, Echols Elevator, Feder Plumbing and heating, and the Eagles Club. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

   Viola Armstrong, 85, of New Ulm died Sunday, September 12, 1999, at the St. Lucas Care Center in Faribault.
   Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in New Ulm with burial to follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 -11:30 a.m. at the Firle Funeral Home in New Ulm, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

   Melvin L. Wills, 86, of 500 South Franklin in New Ulm died Monday at the St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield.
   Funeral arrangements are pending with the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.

   Adrian Fisch, 51, of St. James died Monday, Sept. 13, 1999 at his home.
   Funeral arrangements are pending with Sturm Funeral Home in St. James.
