   David 'Tuffy' Williams, 66, of Winthrop, died on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2001, at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital, Mankato.
   Services are 11 a.m. Monday at Peace Lutheran Church, Winthrop, with military rites by the Winthrop Honor Guard. Burial will be at a later date in the Winthrop Cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30-8 a.m. Monday at the Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel, Winthrop and one hour prior to the service at the church Monday.
   He is survived by his wife Sandra of Winthrop; son, Jeffrey and his wife Tammy of Litchfield; daughter, Melissa and her special friend Dan Stevensen of Nicollet; brothers, Howard and his wife, Shirley of Hampton, Va., James and his wife, Betty of Shelby, N.C., and Gene and his wife, Lee of Smackover, Ark.; sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Blackburn and her husband, Charles of Lawndale, N.C. and Geraldine Donovan of Shelby, N.C.; sisters-in-law, Sue of Cherryville, N.C., Jill of Tuscon, Ariz., and Barb Thompson and her husband, Dick of Longville; brother-in-Iaw, Bruce Sandbo and special friend, Tammy Brockman of Wells; and many nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; and by brothers, Robert C. and Everett.
   He was born May 28, 1935 in Cherryville, N.C., to Robert Carl and Occie (Seagle) Williams. He grew up in North Carolina and graduated from Cherryville High School in 1953. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1953 and made it a career. He married Sandra Sandbo on Aug. 28, 1965, at Norseland Norwegian Lutheran Church. The lived in South Carolina, Illinois, Panama and Virginia before settling in Minnesota. He retired from the Air Force in 1974. He later worked at Kraft in New Ulm. He attended vocational school for computer programming. He also worked at 3M in New Ulm and at Brown Printing in Waseca. He retired from Brown Printing in 1993. He had been calling Bingo at Jackpot Junction in Morton for the past several years.

   Donald Bolland, 82, of Red Wing, died on Friday, Sept. 14, 2001, at Red Wing Health Center in Red Wing.
   Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church in Ormsby, with burial in Mountain Lake Cemetery in Moutain Lake.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and one hour prior to services at the church.
   He is survived by his former wife, Else Bolland of St. James; sons, Howard and wife Terry of Red Wing, Arden and wife Terri of Burnsville, Ronald and wife Sue of Chaska; daughters, Lorraine Bolland of Rochester, Edith and husband Lawrence Langsev of Bricelyn, and Brenda and husband Raphael Osorio of King City, Calif., 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Ottilie Bachmann.
   He was preceded in death by his parents.
   He was born on July 25, 1919, in Sioux City, Iowa. He was adopted by Henry and Pauline (Wiediger) Bolland. He married Else Bachmann on June 24, 1951. They later divorced. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He farmed for many years near St. James.
