   Lawrence Ebert, 91, of New Ulm died Wednesday evening at Oakhills Living Center in New Ulm.
   Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm with burial in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday at the Firle Funeral Home in New Ulm and one hour before services at the church.
   He is survived by his son Curtis Ebert of New Ulm, three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his wife Leola; daughter LaVonne; one brother; five sisters; daughter-in-law Ardelle Ebert.
   He was born Dec. 11, 1907 in Bernadotte Township to Herman and Mathilda (Precht) Ebert. He married Leola (Jutz) Nov. 25, 1931 in the St. Paul's Rectory in Nicollet. Following marriage the couple lived near Swan Lake. They moved to New Ulm in 1932. He worked at Eagle Roller Mill. He also worked as a drain tile installer and worked with John Heymann Construction. He retired in 1969. He became a resident of Lake Crystal Nursing Home in 1994. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

   Loretta B. Harmening, 88, of Sunset Apartments in New Ulm died Friday, September 17, 1999 at the Fairfax Community Home in Fairfax.
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm with burial in the New Ulm City Cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday and will continue 7:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at the Minnesota
   Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.
   She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Cleo and Walter Koester of New Ulm; grandchildren, Russel Koester, Mary Koester, and Tom Koester and his wife Debbie all of New Ulm; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Kelly, and Katie Koester all of New Ulm; brothers and sister-in-law Ralph and Marvel Boesch of New Ulm, Otto Boesch of Hammond, Ind.; sisters-in-law, Verna Boesch, Muriel "Tottie" Boesch, and Eleanor "Sis" Harmening all of New Ulm; nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alwin Harmening, in 1970; sister, Flossie Hensel; brothers Robert and Ewald Boesch; twin brothers, Leo and Leander Boesch.
   She was born Nov. 12, 1910 in New Ulm to Robert and Mary (Zangl) Boesch, Sr. She married Alwin Harmening on May 3, 1934 at the parsonage of the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. She worked at the Wearwell Garment Factory in New Ulm for many years until it closed and then worked at Kraft in New Ulm until her retirement.

   Amelia M. Luepke, 80, of rural New Ulm died Friday September 17, 1999 at the Divine Providence Home in Sleepy Eye.
   Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with burial in the Catholic Cemetery in New Ulm.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday and 7:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. The Christian Mothers will pray the rosary at 4 p.m. Monday at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. There will be a parish prayer service at 6:30 p.m. and a rosary at 7:30 p.m. by the St. Elizabeth's Catholic Aid Society both Monday evening at the funeral home.
   She is survived by her sisters, Esther Koss of Hopkins, Sister Sharon Schaefer of Donaldson, Ind., and Aurelia Boettger of New Ulm; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lawrence and Amelia Schaefer of Chester, Montana, Henry and Betty Schaefer of New Ulm, Father Roman Schaefer of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and James and Annabelle Schaefer of rural Nicollet.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Leander Boettger in1972 and Raymond Luepke in 1999; brothers, Leo and Herbert Schaefer.
   She was born March 6, 1919 in Granby Township, Nicollet County to Leo and Amelia (Bushard) Schaefer. She attended District #20 Granby Township Country School, and graduated from Nicollet Public High School in 1936. She married Leander Boettger in 1952 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Ulm, she then married Raymond Luepke on Sept. 23, 1977 at the St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Fairfax. She lived all her life on the family farm in rural New Ulm. She had worked at Herberger's for 46 years. She was member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm, St. Elizabeth's Catholic Aid Society, the Christian Mothers Society, and the New Ulm Farm-City Hub Club.
   In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to be given to the Divine Providence Home in Sleepy Eye or the American Cancer Society.

   Donald Joseph Glasgow, 76, of St. James, died at his home in St. James.
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. James Catholic Church in St. James with burial in Calvary Cemetery St. James with full military rites.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30-10 a.m. Monday at the Sturm Funeral Home in St. James.
   There will be a combined Christian Mothers and Knights of Columbus Rosary at 4 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. both at the Sturm Funeral Home on Sunday.
   He is survived by his children Dan and Bonnie Glasgow of Big Timber, Mont., Wade Glasgow and Jane Jorgenson of Rapid City, SD, Jane and Boyd Maranell of Rosemount; six grandchildren; sisters Frances Stewart of St. Paul, Catherine Amundson of Seattle, Wash., Margaret and Pat Corcoran of St. Louis Park, Mary and Richard Woodcock of Salinas, Calif., Teresa and Bill Ralston of LaPine, Ore., and brother Robert and Shirley Glasgow of St. James; nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Joyce in 1980; brother John Glasgow and a sister.
   He was born Oct. 1, 1922 to Joseph and Elizabeth (Ryan) Glasgow in Worthington. In 1923 his family moved to St. James where he attended and graduated from St. James High School in 1941. He joined the Army in 1943 and served in the 11th Airborne Unit in the Pacific during WWII.
   He married Joyce B. Sizer in May, 1955 in Mankato. They made their home in St. James and he worked for Chicago Northwestern Railroad as a conductor/brakeman for 34 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, V.F.W. Post #1914, American Legion Post #33, Eagles and Knights of Columbus, all in St. James.

   Lenny Graff, 50, of Lamberton died Friday, September 17, 1999 as a result of an automobile accident.
   Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of Christ in Lamberton with burial in the Lamberton Cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

   Peter Walter Sawatzky, 79, of Butterfield, died September 18, 1999, at Mountain Lake.
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church in St. James with burial in the Calvary Cemetery in St. James.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m Tuesday and 7:30-10 a.m. Wednesday at the Sturm Funeral Home in St. James. There will be a Christian Mothers Rosary at 4 p.m and a Parish Prayer Service at 7 p.m., both at the Sturm Funeral Home in St. James.
   He is survived by his wife Mary of St. James; step-children Richard and Cathy Bird of St. James, Linda and Randy Siem of Litchfield, Marvin Ringheim of Fort Worth, Texas, Penny and Randy Callander of South Haven, Robin and Joe Hanson of St. James; nine step-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; several cousins.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Helen Sawatsky and brother Diedrich.
   He was born on May 20, 1920 in Mountain Lake to Peter and Helena (Wall) Sawatzky. He grew up on the family farm and attended country school. He continued to live on the family farm following his parents death and he and his sister Helen and brother Diedrich farmed. He married Mary Voge on Aug. 23, 1975 at St. James Catholic Church. They couple made their home on the family farm until retiring and moving to Butterfield in 1995. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and served on the township board.

    Edwin Dean, 88, of Hector died Friday, September 17, 1999 at the Burns Manor Nursing Home in Hutchinson.
   Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Swendlanda Lutheran Church in Palmyra Township with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at the Hughes Funeral Home in Hector and one hour prior to the service at the church.

   Ady Mattison-Utz, 61, of Clifton, Va., formerly of Revere and Springfield died Thursday, September 16, 1999 in Fairfax, Va.
   Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lamberton with burial in the Lamberton Cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday and 7:30-9 a.m. Tuesday at the Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
