   Nick Lee Mueller, 16, of New Ulm died Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at the New Ulm Medical Center.
   Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 25, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with Father John A. Richter celebrating. Burial will be in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
   Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Friday and 7:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. There will be a parish prayer service at 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
   Nick is survived by his mother, Nancy Mueller and her friend, Dave Schmidt, both of New Ulm; his father, Craig Mueller of New Ulm; grandmothers, Julia Schugel and Donna Mueller, both of New Ulm; a half brother, Matt Mueller of Mankato; by his girlfriend, Kayla Becker of New Ulm; aunts and uncles, Kathleen and Larry Johnson of New Ulm, Mel Schugel of New Ulm, Ken Schugel of St. Peter, Julie and Darrin Klover of New Ulm, DeAnn and Larry Fast of Apple Valley, Becky and Tony Miller of Mankato, Jeff and Betty Mueller of Mankato; and Pat Mueller of Tampa, Florida; cousins, Larry and Wendy Johnson and Paul of Janesville, Wisconsin, Jill and Mark Bocock and Hayley of St. James, Tammy Johnson of Arkansas, Katie Johnson of Oregon, Christopher Schugel of Washington, Sarah and Alison Schugel of New Ulm, Michael, Jennifer, Xavier, Aden, and Valerie Schugel of St. Peter, Vanessa Parker, Tyler, Ian, and Eric Klover of New Ulm, Jason and Yvette Fast of Owatonna, Andy and Bev Miller and Joe, Derick, and Brandon of Mankato, Kristi Miller of Florida, Andrea Miller of Minneapolis, Amy and Chad Reed and Kenna and Lucas of Mankato, Corey and Jen Mueller and Dustin and Madilyn of Mankato, Brent Mueller of Mankato, Amanda Mueller of Mankato, and Matika Mueller of Tampa. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Melvin Schugel and Lothar Mueller; an aunt, Lois Schugel; and a baby cousin, Klover.
   Nick was born on October 21, 1987 in New Ulm to Craig and Nancy (Schugel) Mueller. He attended New Ulm Senior High School. He has been active in many sports including, basketball, football, soccer, wrestling, golf, archery, dance, choir, ice skating, bowling, and the "Crazy for you Musical." Nick was active in SPOTS (Students Performing On Tough Situations) which encourages kids to make good decisions in difficult situations. He belonged to the FOCUS Bible study, was an altar server, helped with the church picnic, delivered Meals on Wheels, and was involved in both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Nick recently got a new job at Hardees and a new truck and spent a lot of his time working on stereo systems, helping friends, mowing lawn (since the time he could reach the handle), tinkering with anything with an engine, and has always been Grandma's little helper. He enjoyed fishing, guns and target shooting, and dream cars; he always had a different dream car to talk about. The smile on his face will always be missed -- he was a good kid!!
   In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to SPOTS or the Jacob Wetterling Foundation.

   Victor J. Kielty, Sr., 78, of Comfrey, died Monday, Sept. 20, 2004 at Mankato House Health Care Center in Mankato.
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield. Interment will be at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery in Comfrey.
   Visitation will be 7:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield.
   He is survived by his wife, Donna Kielty of Comfrey; a son, Jim Kielty of Cokato; daughters, Janice Zernechel of North Mankato, Julie Dvorak of St. Peter, and Jane Lamoreux of St. Peter;
   11 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
   Victor James Kielty was born Aug. 9, 1926 in New Ulm to James and Katie Kielty.

   Walter Schreiner, 86, of Gibbon died Thursday, September 23, 2004 at the Fairfax Community Home in Fairfax. Funeral arrangements are pending with Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon.
