   Warren Meyer , 71, of New Ulm, died Tuesday, October 5, 2004, from cancer at the Winthrop Good Samaritan Center in Winthrop.
   Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 9, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm. Burial will be in the New Ulm City Cemetery, Soldiers Rest Section. Full military honors will be conducted at the cemetery by the New Ulm Veterans Organizations.
   Warren is survived by his wife, Yvonne "Vonnie" (Mickelson/Meder) Meyer of New Ulm; a stepson, Jeffrey Meder of Hastings; sisters and brother-in-law; Lucille Christensen of Glencoe, Eleanor Marti and Georgine Portner both of New Ulm, and a twin sister, Margaret Lang and her husband, Leo, of Springfield; brothers and sister-in-law, Bill Meyer of Reno, Nevada and Herman Meyer and his wife, Mary Lou, of Pipestone; and many nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents and by brothers, Fred, Bennard and Robert Meyer.
   Warren Anton Meyer, the son of Anton and Margaret (Richert) Meyer was born on July 2, 1933, in Pocahontas, Iowa. He moved to Minnesota with his family in 1937. Warren attended St. Mary's Catholic School in New Ulm and at the age of seventeen he enlisted in the military. He served with the Service Company #135 Infantry Regiment, 47th Infantry Division during the Korean War. On June 23, 1978 he was united in marriage to Vonnie (Mickelson) Meder in Gibbon. After marriage they lived in New Ulm. Warren worked for the City Meat Market in New Ulm for twenty years . For the past thirty-four years he has worked for the Central Livestock Association in St. Paul as a field rep, where he was still employed part time.
   Warren was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm, a former member and past president of the New Ulm Country Club, a past member of Turner Hall, a current member of the Seifert-Bianchi American Legion Post #132 in New Ulm and the Deer Hunters Association. He was well known in the community as an avid mushroom hunter, a hunter, and a fisherman. His love in life was spending time with his poodle "Spinner," watching T.V., especially the Minnesota Vikings, cooking, and playing cards.
   

   Irma M. Wager , 98, of New Ulm. died Wednesday, October 6, 2004, at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.
   Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 9, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with burial in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery, Father John A. Richter will celebrate the mass.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Friday, and 7:30-10 a.m., Saturday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. The Christian Mothers Society will pray the rosary at 4 p.m. Friday at the Cathedral. The St. Elizabeth's Catholic Aid Society will pray the rosary at 6 p.m., and there will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
   Irma is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Delores Klement of Gibbon, Carol and Robert Holm of New Ulm, Elaine Osheeran of Tucson, Arizona; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Frances Fesenmaier of New Ulm; sisters-in-law, Dolores Fisch of New Ulm and Margaret Fisch of Fort Collins, Colorado; a brother-in-law, Fred "Fritz" Taylor of Texas.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ben Wager on January 3, 1994; sons-in-law, Frank Klement, John Osheeran; sisters, Ellen Swanson her twin sister, Leona Hanson, Alice Taylor; and by brothers, Louis Fisch and Frank Fisch Jr..
   Irma Marie Fisch was born August 20, 1906, in New Ulm to Frank and Mary (Macho) Fisch. She attended District 14 School in Milford Township and then Holy Trinity School in New Ulm. She married Ben Wager on September 16, 1930, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Ulm. After marriage they farmed in West Newton Township, Nicollet County. She worked on the farm with her husband until going to work for Webcore in New Ulm in 1953. She also worked at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. Irma volunteered her time with the Red Cross Blood Mobile for many years. She enjoyed dancing and playing cards. Irma was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, St. Elizabeth's Catholic Aid, Christian Mothers Society and the New Ulm Golden Age Club.
   
   

   Elinor Wolf , 99, of New Ulm, died Wednesday, October 6, 2004, at the Luther Memorial Home in Madelia.
   Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 9, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Rev. Wayne Laitinen officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in New Ulm.
   Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. Schmucker Funeral Service of New Ulm is handling the arrangements.
   Elinor Lydia Vomhof, the daughter of Martin and Emma (Meyer) Vomhof, was born December 20, 1904, in rural Goodhue, MN. After her mother's death when Elinor was eleven days old, she was raised for five years by her Aunt Meta Eppen until her father re-married Ernestine Lange. Elinor was confirmed in 1918 at St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Goodhue. She was united in marriage to Waldemar Wolf October 14, 1931 at St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Goodhue. The family lived in rural Minot, ND, rural Goodhue, MN, and rural Red Wing, MN before moving to New Ulm in 1954. Elinor worked at Pat's Cleaners and Dr. Martin Luther College Food Service before retiring in 1969. Waldemar died January 20, 1985.
   She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm, and was active in the Ladies Aid and the quilting group.
   Survivors include her daughter, Nyla Wille and her husband Lawrence of Morristown, MN; grandchildren, Paul Thiede and his wife Marie of New Ulm, Robin Wille of Minneapolis, MN, Sarah Wille and her husband Michael Kneer of Shoreview, MN; great-grandchildren, Emma and Liam Kneer of Shoreview, MN; and step-great-grandchildren, Timothy and Amanda Waibel of New Ulm
   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Waldemar; son, Marlin Wolf, in infancy; daughter, Beatrice Thiede; brother, Erwin Vomhof; son-in-law, Roland "Benny" Thiede; and sister-in-law, Pearl Vomhof.
   Memorials are preferred to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church Building Fund.
