   Adelheid 'Addie' Black, 82, of Fairfax, died Thursday, Oct., 2000, at Fairfax Community Home.
   Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Fairfax, with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday at the church.
   Arrangements are by Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel, Fairfax.
   She is survived by her husband, Leon Black of Fairfax; brothers and sisters-in-law, Victor and Lydia Woller of Gaylord and Vernon and Gladys Woller of Winthrop; and several nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents.
   She was born July 6, 1918, in Transit Township, Sibley County, to George and Martha (Hass) Woller. She attended country school in Sibley County and worked as a cook at the Gaylord Hospital for several years. She married Leon Black on Aug. 22, 1953. They farmed in Cairo Township, Renville County. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

   Lorraine Christensen, 85, of 1001 North Garden Street in New Ulm died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000 at Lake Crystal Health Care Center in Lake Crystal.
    Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church in New Ulm, with burial in Home Cemetery in Sleepy Eye. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the time of the service at the church on Tuesday.
   She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Mike Peters of Madison Lake; a son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Leola Anderson of Luling Louisiana; five grandchildren; and four great -grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Klingseisen, of Sleepy Eye; a brother-in-law, Claus Evers of Sleepy Eye; and also a sister-in-law, Shirley Anderson of Sleepy Eye. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Ivan Anderson in March 1977, and by her second husband, Edward Christensen in June of 1990; a brother Vernon Guhlke; and sisters, Mildred Evers and Leona Zellmer.
    She was born Dec. 18, 1914, in Cobden to Gustav and Amanda (Grundmeyer) Guhlke.
   She attended school in Cobden. On June 10, 1936, she married Ivan Anderson in Sleepy Eye. They farmed near Cobden before moving to a farm north of Evan.
   She married Edward Christensen on June 28, 1980. They lived in New Ulm.
   He owned and operated the Purity White Castle Restaurant in New Ulm and she was a homemaker.
   She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in New Ulm and the Ladies Aid at the church.
   She was a past member of Grace Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye.

   Harold E. Rogotzke, 81, of Springfield, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000, at St. John Lutheran Home, Springfield.
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Raphael's Catholic Church, Springfield, with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today with a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. today and 7:30-10 a.m. Monday at Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield.
   He is survived by a son, Floyd and daughter-in-law, Sue Rogotzke of Springfield; daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Wally Nelson of Maple Grove, and Gloria and Ron Dingfelder of Big Stone City, S.D.; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and three expected great grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Irene; one brother, Walter; two sisters, Emma and Elda; and one great grandchild.
   He was born Jan. 10, 1919, in North Star Township, Brown County, to Wilhelm and Ida (Bast) Rogotzke. He farmed on the family farm, west of Springfield, moving to Springfield in 1967. He married Irene Welsch on Jan. 10, 1944, in Springfield. He belonged to St. Raphael's Catholic Church.

   Lauretta Schlumpberger, 91, of New Ulm died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000 at Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.
    Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with burial in the St. George Catholic Cemetery in St. George. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30-10 a.m. Wednesday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.
   The Christian Mothers will pray the rosary at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity.
   There will be a parish prayer service at 6:30 p.m. and the Catholic Order of Foresters, St. Cecelia Court #420 will pray the rosary at 7:00 p.m. both Tuesday evening at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.
   She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Harvey Fruhwirth of New Ulm; her son and daughter-in-law, James and Marlys Schlumpberger of New Ulm; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one step great-granddaughter; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Alois Schmitt of Culver City, California; sisters-in-law, Marcella Ries, Agnes Schlumpberger Rieger, Ann Schlumpberger Duetsch all of New Ulm, and Elsie Schlumpberger Hamilton of Glendale, California; brothers-in-law, Marcus Schlumpberger of St. Paul and Larry Schlumpberger of Rogue River, Oregon.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Schlumpberger on January 6, 1992; brothers, Jerome and Edmund Ries; and a son Jerome Schlumpberger in 1938.
   She was born July 15, 1909, in Milford Township, Brown County to Charles and Mary (Forst) Ries.
   She attended Milford Country School and later Holy Trinity Grade School.
   On Oct. 11, 1932, she married Henry Schlumpberger at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Ulm. They farmed in West Newton Township, Nicollet County until retiring to New Ulm in 1968. She worked at the Kaiserhoff Restaurant in the kitchen for many years. In 1993, she moved to the Sunset Apartments and then she became a resident of the Oak Hills Living Center in 1997.
    She was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, the Christian Mothers Society, the Catholic Order of Foresters, St. Cecelia Court #420, and (RSVP) Retired Senior Volunteer Program, all in New Ulm.

   Evelyn S. Reinhart, 80, of 1119 North State in New Ulm died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000 at Abbott - Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with burial in the St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Searles. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Monday and 7:30 - 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. The Christian Mother's Society will pray the rosary at 4:00 p.m. Monday at the Cathedral. The St. Anne's Court N.C.S.F. will pray the rosary at 6:30 p.m. and there will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
   She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Roger L. Reinhart of Sartell, Felix Donald and Pat Reinhart of Edina, John P. and Joanne Reinhart of Sauk Rapids; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Whitney of Forest Lake, Cleo Lang of St. Paul; and her brother, Donald Kosek of Roseville.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roman J. Reinhart on November 13, 1986.
   She was born March 28, 1920, in West Newton Township, Nicollet County to Paul R. and Isabelle M. (Wendinger) Kosek. She graduated from Mechanic Art High School in St. Paul in 1938. She married Roman J. Reinhart on May 15, 1939 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Ulm. They farmed in rural Searles until moving to New Ulm in 1944. She received her Licensed Practical Nurse License in 1952 and worked as an LPN at the Loretto Hospital in New Ulm. She was a member of the Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurses Association and volunteered her time and talents serving as an officer and committee member for many years. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm, the Christian Mother's Society, St. Anne's Court #389, National Catholic Society of Foresters, and the American Legion Auxiliary in New Ulm.

   Elroy 'Big Shot' Jones, 86, of Redwood Falls, died Friday, Oct. 6, at Franklin Health Care Center, Franklin.
   Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Redwood Valley Funeral Home, Redwood Falls, with burial in Bishop Whipple St. Cornelia's Cemetery, Lower Sioux Community, Morton.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday with a prayer service at 7 p.m., and at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service.
   He is survived by many friends.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
   Memorials are preferred to Project Turnabout in Granite Falls.
   He was born Elroy Ambrose Jones "Keeper of the River," Oct. 1, 1914, in Paxton Township, Redwood County, to Jim and Julia Jones. He grew up in the Lower Sioux Community and belonged to St. Cornelia's Episcopal Church. He worked at Project Turnabout in Granite Falls for many years and at the Lower Sioux Pottery Shop.

   Michael Norell, 44, of St. James, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at his home in St. James.
   Funeral arrangements are pending with Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield.
