   Edna Patterson, 89, of New Ulm, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1999, at Good Samaritan Center in Lafayette.
   Graveside services are 11a.m. today at New Ulm Cemetery. There is no visitation or reviewal. The Firle Funeral Home of New Ulm is handling the arrangements.
   She is survived by her daughter , Tracy Doble and husband Don of Bloomington; grandson, Patterson Doble of Bloomington; brother, Roy Gastineau and his wife Dot of Ellington, Mo., sister, Faye Leach of Ironton, Mo.; many nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, and one sister.
   She was born March 31, 1910 in Ellington, Mo., to Guy and Edith (Walker) Gastineau. She spent her youth there and attended school. After graduating from high school, she attended beauty school. She married R.E. "Pat" Patterson on March 1, 1937, in Missouri. Shortly after World War II, the couple moved to New Ulm where she worked at the Dacotah Hotel and the Coast to Coast store. Her husband died in 1956. She became a resident of the Good Samaritan Center in Lafayette in 1993. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in New Ulm.

   Carolee (Myers) Hindermann, 60, of Deerwood, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999 at home.
   Services are 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Crosby, with burial in Lakewood Cemetery, Crosby.
   Visitation is one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
   Arrangements were handled by Koop Funeral Home, Crosby.
   She is survived by her husband, Alfred; sons and daughters-in-law, Harry and Beth of Minneapolis, Michael and Debbie of Doon, Iowa and Alfred and LaVonne of Glencoe; daughters and sons-in-law, Deb and Matt Rustman of Alexandria, Theresa and John Felshiem of Maple Grove and Joy and Brett Smith of Hibbing; mother, Bernice Myers of Auburn, Neb.; brothers, Duane and Janice Myers of Minneapolis, Daniel and Joyce Myers of Apple Valley, and Dennis and Donna Myers of Spicer; sisters, Fava and Del Boeder of Pisquah Bay, S.C. and Sharon and Dean Magney of Boise, Idaho; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
   She is preceded in death by her father, Daniel Myers; brother, Clarence; sister, Marilyn Miller; and in-laws, Harry and Clara Hindermann.
   She was born Jan. 25, 1939, in Auburn, Neb., to Daniel and Bernice Kurtz-Myers. Her family moved to Springfield when she was two years old. She married Alfred Hindermann on Feb. 21, 1955, in New Ulm. They made their home in New Ulm until 1986. She retired from 3M in New Ulm. After retirement, the couple moved to Deerwood. She was an employee of Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Crosby, and the Walter Scott Erickson American Legion Auxiliary. She was a volunteer at Cayuna Regional Medical Center and Care Center.
