Lilas Greundemann, 84 of Brainerd died Wednesday, October 27, 1999, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls with burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Morgan. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Nelson Funeral Home, Redwood Falls and continues one hour before services Saturday at the church. She is survived by her son, Jim and wife Eunice of Brainerd; grandchildren: Todd of Brainerd, Lynn Miller and husband Jim of Brainerd, Kay Aarrestd and husband Phil of Waconia; five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She was born July 30, 1915, in Eden Township, Brown County, to Reinhart and Ella (Menk) Ott. She attended country schools. She married William Gruendemann on Aug. 12, 1933, at Immanuel Lutheran Church. They resided in Morgan and then Sherman Township where they farmed until retiring in 1975 and moving to Redwood Falls. He died July 11, 1990. In October 1997 she moved to Brainerd . She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church and its Ladies Society of Morgan and Redwood Falls. Myra Hoeft, 85, of Madelia died Wednesday, October 27, 1999, at Madelia Community Hospital. Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church in Madelia with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday at Pilgrim Funeral Home in Madelia and also one hour prior to the time of service at the church. Danny (Dan) Keith Kirsch, 48, of Olympia, Wash. died Thursday, October 21, 1999 at his home from cancer. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at McKenzie Road Baptist Church, 215 McKenzie Road S.W., Olympia, Wash. 98512. He is survived by his wife, Verna (Powers) Kirsch, 6817 Foster Road S.W., Olympia, WA 98512; his parents, Joyce and Douglas Kirsch of New Ulm; his brother, Jeffrey Kirsch and his wife Jacqueline and their sons Joshua and Justin of Tacoma, Wash.; and his sister Kristine Scheid and her son David of Woodbury, and Kristine's daughter Nichole of Fargo, N.D.; by a mother-in-law and a brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law. He was born in Springfield on July 4, 1951 to Joyce and Douglas Kirsch. He graduated from high school in Worthington in 1969, attended an auto body school in Jackson for two years then entered the U.S. Army. He later took courses at Worthington Junior College. He married Kate Roos from Worthington on Feb. 12, 1977, and they were married for several years. He married his current wife, Verna, in Olympia on Aug. 20, 1988. He lived in Sanborn, Bellingham, Redwood Falls, Bloomington, Worthington, Jackson and New Ulm in Minnesota at various times. He later lived about 18 years in Olympia, Wash., until his death. He was active in the Boy Scouts as a boy. He worked at Heles Plumbing at Worthington. He worked for Ernst, a home supply retail outlet; Knight Sprinklers, a fire sprinklers company; and the state of Washington in a warehouse for office supplies. He owned and operated a retail music store.
