   Anne Kratz, 83, of Robbinsdale, formerly of Comfrey and Springfield, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, at the Crystal Lake Good Samaritan Home.
   Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Hope Lutheran Church, Comfrey with burial in Faith Lutheran Cemetery, Comfrey.
   Visitation is at the church, one hour prior to the service.
   She is survived by a son, Wayne and wife JoAnne Kratz of Maple Grove; daughters, Diane and husband Jim Deutsch of Maple Grove and Jane and husband Bill Isaacson of Maple Grove; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a brother, Ivar and Leona Goltz of Hanska.
   She is preceded in death by four siblings in Sweden; her parents; husband, Art; son, Donavon; brothers, Oscar and Bill Goltz and sisters, Emma, Martha, and Elsie.
   She was born March 11, 1918, in Adrian Township to John and Karin Goltz. They came to the U.S. from Lund, Sweden in 1912. She married Arthur Kratz on Nov. 18, 1943, in West Sveadahl Lutheran Church. They farmed on the Kratz farmstead until retiring in the late 1970s. They moved to Comfrey Apartments in 1998 and following the tornado which hit Comfrey, they moved to Halter Estates in Springfield and to the Twin Cities in 1999. She was a former member of West Sveadahl and Faith Lutheran Churches and is a current member of New Hope Lutheran Church in Comfrey. She participated in Ladies Aid, Comfrey Garden Club, and church activities.

   Earl Kiecker, 93, of Gibbon died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at the Fairfax Community Home in Fairfax.
   Arrangements are pending with the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon.
