Delmar Huhn , 85, of New Ulm, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, at the Sleepy Eye Care Center in Sleepy Eye.
Funeral arrangements are pending with Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.
Ellen G. Bode , 80, formerly of Courtland, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, at the Grandview Good Samaritan Center in St. Peter.

Lorna Bode , 84, of Courtland, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004 , at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Courtland. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm and will continue for one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Thursday.

Henry J. Martius , 84 ,of Revere, died on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004, at the V. A. Medical Center in Minneapolis.
Visitation will be at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lamberton, on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and will continue on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
Service will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lamberton, on Thursday, Nov. 11, at 11a.m. Burial will be at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Springfield.
He is survived by his children, Constance Lambert of Big Lake, Jerry Martius of Sanborn, Dennis Martius of Spearfish, S.D., Thomas Martius of Luverne, and Richard Martius of Walnut Grove; 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Marie and husband Donnie Neeb of Lake Havasu City.

Margaret (Muehlbauer) Ross , 54, formerly of New Ulm, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004, at the Central Health Care Center in Le Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 11, at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with burial in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, and 7:30-10:30 a.m., Thursday, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. There will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Margaret is survived by her very special friend, Bill Rasmussen of Kasota; mother, Magdalen "Maggie" Muehlbauer of New Ulm; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barb and Dale Scheiber of Albany, Karen and Ron Sandhurst of Fairmont; brothers and sisters-in-law, Myron and Karyl Muehlbauer of Chaska, Chuck and Roxanne Muehlbauer of St. Cloud; and by ten nieces and nephews;
She was preceded in death by her father Delmar "Boots" Muehlbauer on December 29, 2002.
Margaret Ann Muehlbauer was born July 13, 1950, in New Ulm, to Delmar and Magdalen (Hanslick) Muehlbauer. She graduated from Cathedral High School in 1968, St. Cloud School of Nursing in 1971, and then from the Metropolitan State University with her degree in computer communications. She worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Cloud Hospital, Immanuel-St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato, Unity Hospital in Fridley, and Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. She specialized in critical care and emergency room medicine. She also taught paramedic and emergency medical technician students. She was an accomplished musician and love playing, arranging and listening to old time music.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial to New Ulm Area Catholic Schools or donor's choice.
Agnes (Peichel) Schnobrich , 96, of Sleepy Eye, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004 at the Divine Providence Community Home in Sleepy Eye.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 10, at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye with Father Brian Oestreich celebrating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Sleepy Eye.
Visitation is 10 a.m. until noon Wednesday at the Divine Providence Community Home Chapel in Sleepy Eye.
Minnesota Valley Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Agnes was survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Sal DeLeon of Frederick, Maryland, Margie and Nick Vamvakis of Duram, Connecticut, and Mary and Bob Windt of Charlotte, North Carolina; sons and daughters-in-law, Gerard and Marlo Schnobrich of Hudson, Wisconsin, Dan and Gerri Schnobrich of Broad Brook, Connecticut, and Paul Schnobrich of Sleepy Eye; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Albert Peichel of Fairfax and Lerry and Jane Peichel of Sleepy Eye.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edmund Schnobrich on Dec. 30, 1977; sisters, Elsie Palmer, Christine Peichel, Molly Jackson, and Gertrude Peichel; brothers, John Peichel, William Peichel, Otto Peichel, Harry Peichel, Father Benedict Peichel.
Agnes was born on April 1, 1908, in Fairfax to John and Anna (Wurmstein) Peichel. On September 26, 1938, she married Edmund Schnobrich at the St. George Catholic Church in St. George. She was a library assistant at St. Mary's School and the Dykman Library both in Sleepy Eye. Agnes was also a teacher for many years. She was a 4-H club leader. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society, the St. Margaret's Society, the St. Agnes Bible Study Club, and St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye.
Emil Schroepfer , 86,of Sleepy Eye, died on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2004, at Sleepy Eye Care Center.
Service is 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 10, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Clergy will be Fr. Brian Oestreich. Interment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Sleepy Eye.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m., Tuesday; and 7:30-9 a.m., Wednesday, at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye. There will be a Catholic Aid rosary at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Emil Frank Schroepfer was born on June 23, 1918, in Sleepy Eye the son of George P. & Minnie (Schroepfer) Schroepfer. He grew up and attended country school near Sleepy Eye and later attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Sleepy Eye. After he completed his schooling, Emil farmed near Sleepy Eye. He married Esther Gulden on Sept. 18, 1944, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. The couple made their home south of Sleepy Eye where they lived and farmed until retiring and moving to Sleepy Eye in 1987. Emil was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where he ushered for many years. He was also a member of the Catholic Aid Association. Emil enjoyed "Old Time" music and playing cards with his friends.
Survivors include his wife, Esther Schroepfer of Sleepy Eye; daughters, Sharon (Roger) Kral of Sleepy Eye, Marjorie (Richard) Zins of Tempe, AZ; son, Kenneth Schroepfer of Sleepy Eye; four grandchildren, Amy Helvig, Lisa Schnieder, Jamie Zins and Ricky Zins; sister, Minnie Flock of Morgan and sister-in-law, Maureen Schroepfer of St. Paul.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Eckstein, Margaret Kaimz, Adelinde Hoffmann, Veronica Hillesheim, Viola Ludewig and Delores Schroepfer; brothers,Ervin and George Schroepfer.
Iona Zihlke , 90, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield.
Funeral Services are Friday, Nov. 12, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Springfield with burial at North Star E.U.B. Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday, Nov. 11, from 4-8 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 12 from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield, and continues for one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Pastor Carl Seamon will officiate. Condolences may be sent via e-mail to www.sturmfh.com.

Iona Katherine Zihlke was born June 12, 1914, in Honnor Township, Redwood County, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Lipp) Simondet. She was a graduate of Redwood Falls High School and Mankato Teachers College. Iona taught school in District 86 and District 89 in Redwood County before her marriage to William (Bill) Zihlke on September 12, 1936. They farmed in North Star and Brookville Townships before moving to Springfield in 1966. After leaving the farm Iona was employed at St. John Lutheran Home and the Springfield Hospital until her retirement. She also was a cook for the first "Meals on Wheels" program in Springfield and a charter member of the Springfield Hospital Auxiliary. Iona was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, taught Sunday School and Bible School, and was a Bible Leader for Leah Circle.
She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, cooking, baking, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include son, Richard and wife Lois Zihlke of Springfield; daughter, Kathy and husband Dave Niemann of Springfield; grandchildren, Daniel and wife Ramona Zihlke of LeCenter, Shari and husband Todd Wentzel of Murdock, Chad and wife Christy Niemann of Rochester, Kari and husband Randy Hoffarth of Stewartville, and Jami Niemann of Mankato; seven great grandchildren, Brandon and Amanda Zihlke, Mallory, Megan, Emily and Laura Wentzel, and Alicia Niemann; sisters, Pauline Henke of Hutchinson and Ura and husband Ted Kissner of Lamberton; brother-in-law- Reinhold and wife Alice Zihlke of Springfield; and sister-in-law- Irene Zihlke of Apache Junction, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bill in 1997; children, David, and Muriel and Billy in infancy; and brother-in-law- Ralph Henke.
