   Elaine Dorr, 58, of 1900 Willow Road in New Ulm died Thursday, November 11, 1999 at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm.
   Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church in New Ulm with burial in the City Cemetery in New Ulm.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 - 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
   She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Dorr of New Ulm; mother, Helen L. Tullberg of Moline, Ill.; daughter, Jana Louise and Daniel Johnson of Glendale, Ariz.; son, Gregory Robert Dorr of Tempe, Ariz.; grandson, Connor William Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Margo and Dennis Korb of Indianapolis, Indiana; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steven and Shari Tullberg of Chevy Chase, Md., Loren and Judy Tullberg of Custer, S.D., Paul and Donna Tullberg of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., Keith and Pam Tullberg of Milwaukee, Wis.; sisters- in-law and brother-in-law , Marilee and Harold Peterson, Marsha Kloster of Remsen, Iowa.
   She was preceded in death by her father, and an infant son, Delton Robert Dorr.
   She was born on Aug. 14, 1941 in Moline, Ill. to Martin A. and Helen Louise (Biehl) Tullberg. She received her B.A. Degree in Elementary Education at the Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm and later attained her Masters Degree in Elementary Education at the University of South Dakota. She had taught as an elementary teacher for several years. She married Robert Leonard Dorr on Aug. 15, 1964 at the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Moline, Ill. After marriage they lived in Sioux City, Iowa for 30 years. In 1994 they moved to New Ulm. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm and was in the mixed and chapel choirs at church, was a member of the WELS Prison Ministries and the Lutheran Women's Missionary Society, a volunteer at the Treasure Haus and the Chamber of Commerce in New Ulm. She had been the organist for Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sioux City, Iowa for 30 years.

   Eadell H. Wing, 81, of Springfield, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital, Mankato.
   Services are 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Comfrey, with burial in Faith Lutheran Cemetery, Comfrey.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m.-noon Monday at Sturm Funeral Home, Comfrey, and one hour prior to services at the church.
   He is survived by his wife Ima; daughters, Sharon and husband Marlin Elgen of Foley, Robin and husband Greg Schwaegerl of Montevideo, Julie and husband Brian Johnson of St. Cloud, and Debra and husband Steve Schwaegerl of New London; sons, Loren and wife Donna of Springfield, James and wife Rita of Eagan, and Bruce and wife Jan of Belgrade; 21 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Mildred Schneider and Dorothy Peterson.
   He was born March 17, 1918 in Bashaw Township, Brown County, to Herbert and Victoria (Johnson) Wing. He lived on the same farm his entire life. He attended District 59 Country School; was a former member of Faith Lutheran Church and current member of New Hope Lutheran Church, Comfrey. He served on the Faith Lutheran Church and Cemetery boards; the board of directors for Comfrey Cooperative Creamery and the Associated Milk Producers in New Ulm.

   Esther Kamrath, 84, of Cosmos, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999 at the Cosmos Healthcare Center.
   Services will be 3 p.m. today at Peace Lutheran Church in Cosmos with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Raymond D. Hughes Funeral Home in Cosmos.
   She is survived by her sons: Darold of Litchfield; Duane and wife Grace of LaCrescent, and Roger and his wife Joyce of Omaha, Neb.; seven grandchildren with spouses; two great-grandchildren; sisters: Hazel Rux and Laura Walberg; sister-in-law Marion Weseloh; brother-in-law Elmer Rux; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
   She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993; her parents; brothers Harry and Lloyd Weseloh.
   She was born Jan. 8, 1915 in Hutchinson to David and Lilly (Koenecke) Wesloh. She grew up near Buffalo Lake and attended the Dascher School. She graduated from Buffalo Lake High School in 1933. She was employed as a domestic home cleaner. She married Myron Kamrath on March 21, 1936. The couple farmed in Cosmos, Hector and near Buffalo Lake until 1958. In 1958 the family returned to the Cosmos farm where she lived until becoming seriously ill. She was a 4-H leader in the Hector area. She taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and Release Time School at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hector and Peace Lutheran Church in Cosmos.

   Emmett L. Garten, 81, of St. James, died Friday, November 12, 1999 at home.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Augustana Lutheran Church, St. James. Burial with full military honors will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, St. James.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 8-9 a.m. Monday at Pease Funeral Home, St. James, and one hour prior to services at the church.
   He is survived by his wife Laura; sons, Donald and fiance Patricia Drier of Eagle Lake, Terry and wife Cindy of Bloomington; daughters, Shirley Raatz and husband Arlo of New Ulm, Joan Klinkner and husband Mike of Madelia, Mary Garten of New Ulm, Lorie Wiedow and husband Dan of Mankato and Susan Cowell and husband Kevin of St. James; 23 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Max and wife Ruth of Phoenix, Ariz. and Howard and wife Rochelle of Powersville, Mo.; sisters, Maxine Kincaid and husband Roger of Silvis, Ill. and Wilma Murphy and husband Wayne of Powersville; nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons; three brothers; one sister; and two grandchildren.
   He was born Feb. 9, 1918 in Benton, Iowa to John and Leona (Mead) Garten. He attended school in Mitchell, S.D. He married Laura Lorenz Sept. 5, 1937 in St. James. They lived in several communities in southern Minnesota and Iowa following their marriage. He was employed on poultry farms and in food processing plants, including Tony Down Foods in Madelia and St. James. He also worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad and had operated a garbage route in St. James. He served in the Army in Asia during World War II and was also in the National Guard. He was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church, St. James, and the American Legion.

   Doris Jahr, 92 of Arlington, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999 at Waconia Ridgeview Medical Center.
   Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Arlington with burial in the Arlington Public Cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today, and 8-11 a.m. Sunday at the Fenske Funeral Home in Arlington, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
    There will be a prayer service at the Funeral Home tonight at 7:45 p.m.
   She is survived by her husband Martin Jahr of Arlington; sons and daughters-in-law: Elden and Joyce Winter of Darwi; Roger and Myra Jahr of Arlington; sisters and brothers-in-law: Cora Goebel of Arlington, Marilla and Arnold Narr of Henderson, and Valerie and Melvin Doering of Hutchinson; sister-in-law Lorna Jahr of Gaylord; seven grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her first husband, Arthur Winter in 1935.
   She was born June 22, 1907 in Washingtonn Lake Township, Green Isle to Charles and Anna (Lemberg) Timm. She married Arthur Winter on Oct. 27, 1926. He died May 28, 1935. She married Martin Jahr in Arlington on Oct. 25, 1936. She was an honorary member of St. Paul's Ladies Aid.
