   Ruth Beecher, 89, of Edina, formerly of New Ulm, died Nov. 29, 1999.
   A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at United Church of Christ in New Ulm. The family requests memorials to the United Church of Christ. The Cremation Society of Minnesota, Edina Chapel, handled the arrangements.
   She is survived by her sons, Lee H. Beecher, M.D. and wife Mary Jane Heinen of Maple Grove; John T. Beecher, M.D. and wife Lori of Edina; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
   She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
   She was born Aug. 28, 1910, in Madison to Hans Lokken and Eleanor Hewitt Borgendale. She graduated from Carleton College in Northfield in 1933. She taught in the Canby Consolidated High School until 1936. She married James Morrison Beecher on June 10, 1936. They lived in Minneapolis until 1947 when they moved to New Ulm. After her husband's death in 1990, she lived in New Ulm until 1996 when she moved to Edina to be closer to her sons.

   Bonnie McFarland, 74, of Redwood Falls, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, at Wood Dale Nursing Home, Redwood Falls.
   Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, Redwood Falls, with private burial in the city cemetery.
   Visitation is one hour prior to services at the church Saturday.
   Nelson Funeral Services, Redwood Falls, is in charge of arrangements.
   She is survived by her children, Donna Carlson of St. Louis Park, Beverly Timmer and Linda Cohrs of Redwood Falls, Dale Gilles and wife Patti of Chaska and Thresa Witt and husband Randy of Hospers, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Jake McFarland of Lake Wilson; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen; son, Michael; and daughter Kathy.
   She was born April 15, 1925 in Munch Township, Pine County, to Frederick and Cora (Ice) Mowry. She resided with her family near Hinckley. She graduated from Tracy High School in 1943. She married Glen McFarland on June 15, 1943 in Amiret. They lived on a farm south of Walnut Grove until the fall of 1981 when they moved east of Redwood Falls to Crow Creek Addition. She worked at Dimp's Grocery Store for about 10 years in Walnut Grove. Glen died Sept. 22, 1985. She worked for Redwood County Social Service for 10 years, until retiring in 1991. She moved to Wood Dale Nursing Home in 1992. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a United Methodist Youth Federation leader, belonged to a circle at Walnut Grove Methodist Church, was a foster parent and a 4-H leader in Murray County.

    Adella Lambrecht, 76, of 1413 N. Broadway in New Ulm, died Monday, Nov. 29, 1999, at Lafayette Good Samaritan Center.
   Mass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with burial in the Catholic Cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 - 10:00 a.m. Friday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. Christian Mothers Society will pray the rosary at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Cathedral. There will be a rosary by St. Anne's Court at 6:30 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
   She is survived by her husband, Norman Lambrecht of New Ulm; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Francis Rieger of New Ulm; son, Rodney Lambrecht and his fiancee, Roberta Grossmann both of New Ulm; grandchildren, Marc Rieger and Brittany Rieger both of New Ulm; sisters and brother-in-law, Arline Krambeer of New Ulm, Mildred and Clarence Blumhoefer of Fairfax; brother and sister-in-law, Edwin and Eleanor Mertz of rural New Ulm.
   She was preceded in death by her parents.
   She was born on March 14, 1923, in Sigel Township, Brown County, to Jacob and Catherine (Flor) Mertz. She married Norman Lambrecht on June 17, 1947, at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. She worked at the Woolworth Store in New Ulm and later as a sales clerk at various downtown stores. She was a member of Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, St. Anne's Court No. 389, N.C.S.F. and Christian Mothers Society.

   Harry Bluestone, 71, of Lower Sioux Indian Community died Tuesday, Nov., 30, 1999, at his home of a heart attack.
   Services are11 a.m. Thursday at St. Cornelia's Episcopal Church with burial in the church cemetery.
    Visitation is 4-8:30 p.m. today with a prayer service at 8:30 p.m. at the Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls and continues from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the Community Hall.
    He is survived by sisters, Betty Lee of Morton, Leona Bluestone of the Franklin Healthcare Center, Maude Williams and husband Bill of Morton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marjorie Goodthunder; and brother, Donald Bluestone.
   He was born on July 22, 1928, in Paxton Township, Redwood County, to Samuel and Marie (Morin) Bluestone. He was a lifelong resident of the Lower Sioux Community

   Mathilda A. Eiler, 97, of Bird Island, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, at Bethesda Pleasant View Nursing Home, Willmar.
   Services are 1:15 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bird Island, with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 5-8 p.m. at Dirks-Blem Funeral Home, Bird Island, with a prayer service at 6 p.m and continues noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
   She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Vivian and Dick and Norma of Bird Island; daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Frank Lindell of Cold Spring, Dorothy and Roger Lippert of Willmar and Florence and Merton Gustad of New Ulm; 27 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by husband John in 1972; daughter-in-law, Lucille; three sisters; and three brothers.
   She was born March 9, 1902, in Kalisck, Germany, to Aloysius and Martha (Kreft) Piepiorka. She immigrated to the United States in 1922. She worked at several different jobs in Fond du Lac and Ellsworth, Wis., and St. Paul, before moving to Bird Island in 1931. She married John H. Eiler on Oct. 25, 1932 in Bird Island. They farmed until 1964 when they retired to Bird Island. She was a member of St. Mary's Altar Society, Senior Citizens Club and the Bird Island Senior Citizens Singers. She moved to Olivia Healthcare Center on May 31, 1996 and to Pleasant View Nursing Home in September.

   Floyd Raitz, 84, of rural Fairfax, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, at the Buffalo Lake Healthcare Center.
   Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Swedlanda Lutheran Church in Palmyra Township with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday at t Hughes Funeral Home in Hector and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
