   Jeremy Buchanan, 20, of Redwood Falls, died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002, at his home.
   Services are pending with Nelson-Martin Funeral Service of Redwood Falls.

   Lorna C. Jahr, 85, of Arlington, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at Gaylord Lakeview Home.
   Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Arlington, with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is one hour before services at the church. Kolden Funeral Home of Arlington is handling arrangements.
   She is survived by children, Sharon Braun of Brainerd, Lois Pichelmann of Burnsville, Allan Jahr of Pemberton, Kenneth Jahr of Arlington and Barbara Mathwig of Brownton; eight grandchildren; four great-granddaughters; and sister, Lee Buckentin of Plato.
   She was born Oct. 28, 1917, in Hamburg, Minn., to Hermann and Lena (Matthews) Reinitz.

   Carol Ann Peterson, 64, of Comfrey, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at her home.
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at New Hope Lutheran Church in Comfrey, with burial in the Springfield City Cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday and 7:30-9 a.m. Tuesday at Sturm Funeral Home in Comfrey, and at the church one hour prior to the service.
   Carol Ann Beussman, the daughter of Edwin and Rufina (Hohman) Beussman, was born August 1, 1938, in Springfield, Minn. She attended country school District 78. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1956. After taking classes at Mankato Commercial College for one year, she worked at the college for a time, after which she began employed at Kraft Foods in New Ulm. On July 14, 1962, Carol married LeRoy Peterson at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Springfield. Following marriage they lived on the Peterson family farm in Bashaw Township. Carol continued to work at Kraft Foods, and later part time at the Comfrey Times office. Carol then started employment at the Harry Frederickson Insurance Agency, now the Peoples State Agency in Comfrey, where she worked for the past 18 years. Carol had been a member of Faith Lutheran Church, now New Hope Lutheran Church in Comfrey, since marriage. She was a member of the Ladies Circle, W.E.L.C.A, the Soul's Inspiration Singing Group, had taught Sunday School for several years. She was a former 4-H leader and a member and past president of the local branch of the Lutheran Brotherhood, She enjoyed her family and grandchildren, visiting with her many friends, taking community education classes in cake decorating and calligraphy, walking, playing piano and organ, participating in community singing groups and helping others.
   Survivors include her husband, LeRoy Peterson of Comfrey; a daughter Jayna and husband Richard Groebner of Springfield; a son Brian and wife Deb Peterson of Kilkenny; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Benjamin and Miranda Groebner and Katie and Jacob Peterson; brothers, Delwin and wife Beverly Beussman of Springfield and Robert and wife Cheryl Beussman of New Ulm. She was preceded in death by her parents.
   

   Roy P. Sogaard, 76, of Clements, died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002, at the Springfield Medical Center.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Clements with burial in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield, and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
   Arrangements are handled by Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield. A complete notice will follow.
