   Adell Kramer, of 1240 Second North, New Ulm, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, at New Ulm Medical Center.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today at Firle Funeral Home in New Ulm, and one hour prior to services at the church.
   She is survived by childrern, Steven Kramer and wife Bonnie of Austin, Texas, Jean Fischer and husband Joel of New Ulm, and Debra Wenninger and friend Mitch Fiskness of Sauk Centre; seven grandchildren; sister-in-law, Evelyn Brauch of Good Thunder, nephew, Ejay Brauch and his wife JoAnn of Eagle Lake, and half-brother Randall Kroening of New Ulm.
   She was preceded in death by her husband Clayton and her parents.
   She was born Sept. 14, 1922, in New Ulm to August and Meta (Kroening) Vogel. She graduated from New Ulm High School in 1940. She worked as a dental assistant and telephone operator in New Ulm. She married Clayton B. Kramer on May 10, 1947. They lived in New Ulm for six years. After brief stays in Windom and Faribault, they returned to New Ulm. She worked at New Ulm Grocery Company. She and her husband were coordinators for the Brown County Transportation Service from 1980-1994. She was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church and served as past treasurer of the Ladies Aid. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

   Thomas "T.J." Joseph Klein, 72, of Sleepy Eye died Dec. 1, 1999, at Franciscan Health Center in Duluth.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and 7:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. There will be a parish prayer service at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
   He is survived by his wife, Lorraine of Cosmos; sons, Gregory and wife Cynthia of Newton, Kan., Theodore and wife Lynn of Duluth, Stephen of Crystal; eight grandchildren; sisters, Marge Christenson of Oceanside, Calif., Joyce and husband Andrew Zurich of Norco, Calif., and Elizabeth "Betty" Klein of Sleepy Eye.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joseph in infancy; brothers, Frederick and Marlin; and sisters Madonna, Ina and Patricia.
   He was born April 10, 1927, in Sleepy Eye to Frederick and Mathilda (Herr) Klein. He graduated from Sleepy Eye St.Mary's High School. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in Panama during World War II. He returned to Sleepy Eye after the service. He married Lorraine Jacoby on July 9, 1952, in Clements. The couple made their home in Sleepy Eye where he worked for the REA for 42 years, retiring as a lineman supervisor. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye, an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 3134, Sleepy Eye VFW Post 800 and American Legion Post 7. He was a charter member of the International Brotherhood of electrical Workers Local 949.

   The Rev. John E. Henning, 59, Seattle, Wash., died Nov. 20, 1999, in Seattle.
    A Memorial service was held Nov. 28 at Holy Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Des Moines, Wash.
   He is survived by his wife, Judith; children, Matthew and wife Brenda Des Moines, Wash., Michelle Welling and husband Robert of Auburn, Wash., Eric, Bart; two grandchildren; brother, the Rev. Thomas Henning and wife Elaine of New Ulm; sister, Margaret Meier of White Bear Lake, mother-in-law, Olivia Weyland of New Ulm.
    He was born June 23, 1940, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Clarence Norma (Pinkert) Henning. He attended school in Milwaukee and graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran High School in 1958. He graduated from Northwestern College, Watertown, Wis., in 1962 and from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Mequon, Wis., in 1965. He married Judith Weyland on Aug. 15, 1965, in Wauwatosa, Wis. He was ordained as a minister on Aug. 29, 1965, in Spokane, Wash., where he served St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church until 1979. He served Holy Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Des Moines, Wash., until his retirement in 1995.

   Eva Kokesch, 63, of Spring Park and formerly of New Ulm, died Nov. 21, 1999.
   The funeral service and burial took place Nov. 24 in Mound.
   She is survived by her husband, Harold, Sr.; sons, Harold, Jr. of Brooks, Brian of Mound, Keith of Minneapolis, Ricky and wife Teresa of Crystal; daughter, Karen and husband Jeff Schultz of Watertown; seven grandchildren; brothers, Wallace and wife Helene Karstens of New Ulm, Arnold Karstens of Spring Park; sisters, Delores and husband Edward Kokesch of Gibbon, Marlene and husband Warren Albrecht of Mankato, Bernice and husband Eddie Fischer of Gibbon; sister-in-law, Sharon Karstens of Lafayette.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Everett and Henry Karstens; brother and sister-in-law, Orval and Arlene Karstens; sister and brother-in-law, Ila and Verdell Pfeiffer.
   She was born Nov. 14, 1936, in Swanville to Henry and Lydia (Baak) Karstens. In 1947 she moved to New Ulm with her parents. She attended St. Paul's Lutheran School and New Ulm High School. She worked at Oswald's Laundry. She married Harold Kokesch on April 29, 1957, and the couple moved to Minneapolis, and to Spring Park in 1959. She retired last year.

   Mary Mills , 87, Redwood Falls, died Dec. 1, 1999, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital.
   Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Church of Christ, Redwood Falls with burial in the Redwood Falls Cemetery.
   Visitation is 4- 8 p.m. today at Nelson Funeral Home, Redwood Falls and will continue 9 a.m. to noon Saturday and one hour prior to services at the church.
   She is survived by children, John David and wife Joanne of Lake Crystal; Mary Ann Hodge and husband Hardy of Dayton, Texas; Barbara Louise Kiergaard of Redwood Falls; and Shirley Faye Arendt and husband William of Minneapolis; 16 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Ardyce Young, Redwood Falls; Melva Young Peterson of Sleepy Eye; Alice Freeman of Massachusetts; and Marge Mills, Glendale, Ariz.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Art; parents; six brothers; three sisters; one grandson; and one great-granddaughter.
   She was born Sept. 13, 1912, at Veedersburg, Ind., to J.D. Frank and Veria (Greenley) Young. The family moved to the Redwood Falls area in 1915. She graduated from Redwood Falls High School in 1931. She married Arthur Woodrow Mills on April 24, 1936, at Redwood Falls. They farmed in the Franklin and Morgan area until he died in 1974. She was active in 4-H adult leadership in Renville and Redwood counties. She was a life long member of the Redwood Falls Church of Christ, where she belonged to the Sunshine Circle and was on the Mission Committee. She moved to Redwood Falls in l975. She worked as a nurse's aide at the Redwood County Nursing Home and at Wood Dale Nursing Home. She retired at the age of 84.
