Stanley Hall, of St. Clair died Sunday Dec. 4, 1999, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester. Services are 11 a.m. today at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Clair. Visitation is one hour before services at the church. Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home, Janesville, handled arrangements. He was a former employee of MBW in New Ulm. Hilda Johnson, 101, of Franklin, died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999, at Franklin Healthcare Center. Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Swedlanda Lutheran Church, Palmyra Township, rural Hector, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church, and will continue one hour prior to services. Hughes Funeral Home, Hector, is in charge of arrangements. She is survived by daughter Bernice Christenson of Hector; sons, J.S. Edwin "Eddie" and Gordon and wife Helen, all of Franklin; daughter-in-law Betty of Spicer; 11 grandchildren; one step-grandson; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Oscar Kulberg of Fairfax, Andrew and wife Irene of Minneapolis and Ernest of Franklin; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John; son Russell "Buzz"; daughter-in-law Janie; three grandchildren; brothers, Albert, Arthur, Carl, Emil, Ben and Axel; and sister Emma. She was born Oct. 1, 1898, in Palmyra Township, Renville County, to Berge J. and Alida (Kristenson) Kulberg. She was a member of Swedlanda Lutheran Church, Hector. She married John B. Johnson on Jan. 20, 1920. Her husband died on Nov. 6, 1956. She remained on the farm until she fell, injuring her back, when she became a resident of Franklin Healthcare Center April 1, 1998. Carol Reiner , 63, of Springfield, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1999, at Springfield Medical Center. Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Sleepy Eye.with burial in St. Raphael's Catholic Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation is 3:30-9 p.m. Thursday and 7:3--8:30 a.m. Friday at Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield; and continues one hour before services at the church. She is survived by her husband, Richard Reiner of Springfield; daughters and sons-in-law, Roxanne and Mark Malecek of Springfield, Linda and Wayne Henriksen of Springfield; Rhonda and Dean Evers of Comfrey; Sheila and Jon Roiger of Springfield, Stacie Reiner of St. Louis Park; brothers, Dr. Curtis and wife Susan Meinert of Baltimore, Md., Gerald Dean and wife Elayne Meinert of Sleepy Eye; and brother-in-law, Henry Kaping of northern Minnesota; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother,Maynard in childhood; and sister, Bonnie. She was born June 28, 1936, in Sleepy Eye, to Arthur and Mabel (Christensen) Meinert. She attended school in Prairieville Township. She graduated from Sleepy Eye High School in 1954. She worked at Haas Printing in Sleepy Eye. She married Rich Reiner on Aug. 6, 1957, in Sleepy Eye. They farmed in Bashaw Township until 1992. She worked with her husband in the auction and real estate business. They moved to Springfield in 1992. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sleepy Eye and the Ladies Guild. John A. Studtman, 49, of Arlington, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999, at his home. Services are 2:30 p.m. Friday at United Methodist Church, Arlington with burial in the city cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at Fenske Funeral Home, Arlington; and one hour before services at the church. He is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Nanette and Doug Mackenthun of Arlington, Kathy Studtman of Arlington, Roberta Studtman of New Hope; two grandchildren; parents, Water and Amanda Studtman of Houlton, Wis.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Clarice and Luane Johnson of Star Prairie, Wis., Caroline Cook of Milltown, Wis., Shirley and Earl Plattner of Stillwater, Theresa and Doug Stone of Sommerset, Wis.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Albert and Jean Severson of Houlton, Wis., Clarence and Martha Studtman of Milltown, Wis. He was preceded in death by brothers, Hoyt Severson, George Studtman; grandparents, Otto and Inez Briese, Henry and Ella Studtman. He was born Dec. 24, 1949, in Houlton, Wis., to Walter and Amanda (Briese) Studtman. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Arlington VFW Post 6031. He was employed as a custodian for Sibley East Schools in Arlington.
