   Eldon Dolly , 84, of Ridgeway on German, in New Ulm, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm.
   Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 27, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with Father John Richter officiating. Burial will be in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Friday and 7:30-9:30 a.m., Saturday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. The St. Patrick's Council 1076 Knights of Columbus will pray the rosary at 6:30 p.m., and there will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
   Eldon is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Don Steinhaus, Kathy and Steve Weyer, and Mary and Charles Koch all of New Ulm; a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Carol Dolly of Eden Prairie; a daughter-in-law, Rosie (Dolly) Cordes of New Ulm; ten grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; sisters, Lola Vance of LaPorte, Ethel Sens and LaValle Helder both of Mankato; and a brother and sister-in-law, Orville and Lucy Dolly of New Ulm.
   Eldon was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Flora, on April 26, 2001; two sons, Ronald Dolly in 1968 and Tom Dolly, in 2001; and sisters Doris Batzer and Norma Hewitt.
   Eldon E. Dolly, the son of Joseph and Linda (Ruhberg) Dolly was born on Oct. 16, 1919, in Mitchell, South Dakota. He attended school in Woonsocket, South Dakota. On February 3, 1942 he was united in marriage to Flora Hauer at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Ulm. Eldon had worked as a delivery man for New Ulm Dairy. He worked at New Ulm Manufacturing. For over 33 years, from 1946 to 1979, he worked as a livestock buyer for Hormel Company. From 1967 to 1980 Eldon and his brother, Orville, were in a partnership owning and operating the Robo Car Wash in New Ulm. During his working career and in retirement Eldon enjoyed doing woodworking on the side. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm, the St. Patrick's Council 1076, Knights of Columbus, and a past president of Turner Halle in New Ulm. Eldon enjoyed Old Tyme Music and was the drummer for the "Ready Mix Band" in New Ulm for many years. He also had a love for gardening and fishing.

   Louise Fecker , 90, of Springfield, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003 at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield.
   Memorial services are 11 a.m., saturday, Dec. 27, at St. John Lutheran Home chapel.
   Friends may call on the family for one hour before the service at the chapel.
   Arrangements are handled by Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield.
   

   Walter Gulden , 89, of 1021 N. Garden in New Ulm, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.
   Arrangements are pending with Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.

   Arlene S. Hildreth    Services are 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lamberton.
   Visitation is 4-7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 29, at Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton; and continues one hour before services at the church.
   She is survived by husband Gene of Lamberton; daughter Susan Paskoff of Lamberton; sons David Hildreth of Mitchell, S.D., Michael.Hildreth of Leaf River, Ill., Patrick Hildreth of Marshall, Va., Kelly Hildreth of Rockford, Ill; brothers, Donald Larsen of Windom, Dean Larsen of Holiday Island, Mo; sister Dorothy Extein of Sun City, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren
   Arlene Susan Hildreth was born March 1, 1933 in Windom to Chris and Marie (Johnson) Larsen.

   Esther B. Kastens , 86, of New Ulm, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, at the St. Peter Community Hospital in St. Peter.
   Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Pastor Thomas Henning officiating. Burial will be in the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Nicollet Township, Nicollet County.
   Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Friday; and 7:30-8:30 a.m., Saturday; at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm; and continue for one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Saturday.
   Esther is survived by her daughter, Barbara Dallmann of Greenfield, Wisconsin; granddaughters and their husbands, Lisa and Larry Bovee of Appleton, Wisconsin, Stacy and Dan Alexander of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Amy and Matt Miskowski of New Ulm; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew Roger, Matthew Hunter, and Ryan.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Alma Kastens, Amanda Stolt, and Anna Dahms; brothers, Harold Kastens, Ed Kastens, Wilbert Kastens, and Walter Kastens.
   Esther was born on April 30, 1917, in Nicollet to Frederick and Othilie (Schwartz) Kastens. She worked as a waitress at the City Cafe in Sleepy Eye for many years until moving to New Ulm where she worked for Kraft. She moved to St. Peter where she became co-owner of a family owned-restaurant and then working several years at Gustavus Adolphus in St. Peter. She retired and moved back to New Ulm. She was a member of the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm.

    Edna Kolander , 91, of New Ulm, died Dec. 24, 2003, at Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.
   Services will be held at a later date in New Ulm with graveside services at the Lakefield Lutheran Cemetery.
   Schmucker Funeral Service in New Ulm is handling arrangements.

   Rose Markgraf , 83, of Buffalo Lake, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, at the Hutchinson Community Hospital
   Services are 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Stewart with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m., Friday at Hughes Funeral Home, Stewart and Saturday at the church, one hour prior to the service.
   She is survived by her children, Edward of Hutchinson, Robert of Watkins, James of Hector, Karen Swenson of Hutchinson, Carl of Arvada, Colo., Lynette Rosenau of Lester Prairie and Steven of Watertown; 37 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Suppes of Silver Springs, Fla.; and a twin sister, Katherine Marquardt of Grinnell, Iowa.
   She was born Jan. 12, 1920, in Las Animas, Colo, to Andrew and Mary (Etzel) Suppes.

   Jean Nosbush , 75 of Fairfax, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, at the Fairfax Community Home.
   Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, December 27, 2003, at 11 a.m., at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Fairfax. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be Friday, from 4-8: p.m., and Saturday, from 9:30 -11 a.m., at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, in Fairfax.
   There will be a rosary service at 4:30 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 7 p.m., both on Friday night, at the church.
   Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax, is handling the arrangements.
   Jean (Fischer) Nosbush was born August 20, 1928, in Brown County, Minn. She was the daughter of Bernard and Mary (Lenertz) Fischer.
   Jean was united in marriage with Ambrose Nosbush on October 26, 1955, at the Church of the Japanese Martyrs in Leavenworth, MN. She was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Fairfax, where she sang in the choir and was active with the St. Ann's Aid and with the Christian Mothers. She was also a member of Nicollet County Extension Group. Jean was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
   Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister, Joan, in infancy, and by brothers, Bernard and Robert Fischer.
   Jean is survived by her husband, Ambrose Nosbush of Fairfax; sons and daughters-in-law, Daryl and Jane Nosbush of Fairfax, Doug and Louette Nosbush of Fairfax; son, Jeffrey Nosbush of Minneapolis; daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Maurice Cook of Inver Grove Heights, and Judy and Greg Fesenmaier of Burnsville; 13 grandchildren, Jesse, Kate and Brian Nosbush; Adam, Amanda and Keith Nosbush; Ben, Emily and Dan Cook; and Kristyn, John, Brianna and Mark Fesenmaier; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Pat Fischer of Denver, Colo., and Jerry and Diana Fischer of Springfield; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marilyn and James Klein of Wilmington, N.C., and Phyllis and Phillip Shaw of Traverse City, Mich.; sister-in-law, Doris Fischer of Ocean Side, Calif.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
