   Gertrude Nagel, 91, of Arlington, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, at Arlington Good Samaritan Center.
   Services will be at noon, Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Arlington Township, with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be 10 a.m.-noon Thursday at the church.
   Fenske Funeral Home of Arlington is handling the arrangements.
   She is survived by her sister, Esther Lieske of Henderson and many nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and five brothers.
   She was born May 1, 1909, in Arlington Township, to Martin and Rosina (Soeffker) Nagel. She attended District 16 schools and the Day Activity Center (DAC) in Arlington for 20 years. She lived with her aunt and uncle, the Helen and Harry Schneider family. She moved to the Arlington Good Samaritan Center in 1985.

   Victor M. Prescher, 76, of Arlington died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, at Arlington Good Samaritan Center.
   Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Arlington with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Fenske Funeral Home of Arlington is handling the arrangements.
   He is survived by his son Jeffrey and wife Gail Prescher of Rochester; daughter Vicki and her husband Rodger McQuarrie of Prior Lake, special friend Glenda Effertz of Green Isle; brothers and sisters-in-law, Herb and Jan of New Richland, Bob and Lori Mapleton, Pearl Prescher of Wells; sister-in-law Rita Prescher of Mapleton; sisters, Dorothy Proehl of Mapleton, Eleanor Possin of Hartland, Alice and Bob Dilcher of Carthage, Mo., Marion Nagel of Blue Earth, Shirley Eckart of Mapleton; brother-in-law Kenneth Evans of Lewiston; and grandchildren Jason and Brian Prescher and Karina and Kevin McQuarrie.
   He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marilyn; brothers Adrian, Harold Roscoe and Evertt Prescher; and sister, Jan Wentland.
   He was born Feb. 8, 1924, to Julius and Martha (Martin) Prescher in Blue Earth. He attended country school. He worked for Nagel Packing and Big Stone Canning Company in Arlington. After retiring in the late 1980s he transported veterans to the V.A. Hospital. He married Marilyn Clausen on March 1, 1949, at the Mapleton Lutheran Church. She preceded him in death on Dec. 13, 1985. He was a member of the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Green Isle Lions Club.

   John Sandmeyer, 62, of Rochester, and formerly of St. James, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
   Arrangements are pending with Sturm Funeral Home, St. James.
