   Anna C. Leick, 90, of Ridgeway on German and formerly of Searles died Friday, December 26, 2003 at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Searles. Father John Richter and Father Francis Kunz will con-celebrate the mass. Burial will be in the church cemetery, rural Searles. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Monday and from 7:30 until 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.
   There will be a combined rosary by the Christian Mothers Society and the Catholic Aid Sociey at 6:30 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. both Monday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.
   Anna is survived by her daughter, Gloria Tauer, of New Ulm; a son and daughter-in-law, Walter J. and Darlene Leick, of New Ulm; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter N. Leick, on August 21, 1987; a son and daughter both in infancy; a son-in-law, Robert Tauer on August 3, 1994; and by a brother, Henry Wagner.
   Anna C. Wagner, the infant daughter of John and Emma (Haag) Wagner was born on April 9, 1913 in Cottonwood Township, Brown County. She attended the Holy Trinity Catholic Schools in New Ulm. On May 14, 1934 she was united in marriage to Walter N. Leick at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Searles. After marriage they farmed in Cottonwood Township, Brown County. In 1971 they retired and moved into Searles. She was a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Searles, a member of the Christian Mothers Society and the Catholic Aid Society.

   Warren Uecker, 65, of Gaylord, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at Sibley Medical Center in Arlington.
   Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord, with interment in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday and 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord.
   Arrangements are with Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord. A complete obituary will be published in a later edition of The Journal.
